Jane House
Jane House Jane holds a B.A. in Psychology from Georgetown University and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute where she completed her thesis titled “The Yoga of Embodiment.” Academic graduate studies in depth and Jungian psychology mixed with decades of hands-on experience working with bodies as a yoga teacher have grown in Jane the skills, tools and language to facilitate a holistic healing process for others. As a teacher, Jane continually noticed that “yoga was not enough” to regulate a nervous system and affect the experience of being stuck, uncomfortable or shut down.
Only when individuals took the time to connect more deeply and authentically to all parts of themselves, developing a full and wonderous inner life, were they able to relax more fully into being. In 2001, Jane founded a yoga school in San Francisco, The Yoga Loft, that became her home for teaching and learning for nearly a decade. For twenty-five years, Jane has studied with master teachers Angela Farmer, Tony Briggs & Sofia Diaz. With time and experience, Jane has unfolded a practice in somatic psychology that works to enliven one’s inner life, relieve stored tension and grief, and wake up one’s most intuitive and self-healing processes.

Dr. Milaka Stringham
For as long as she can remember, Milaka has embraced living a healthy lifestyle. She practices the art of seeking balance in all aspects of self: mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. The art and practice of self care is what helps support the body’s natural healing, as well as the process of aging gracefully, which empowers us to be as healthy and active as we want. Milaka was first introduced to the art of therapeutic, hands-on care while attending Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. After graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2009, she opened her own practice where she was able to explore and hone the craft of combining gentle chiropractic joint mobilization with myofascial release and CranioSacral therapy. She integrates the gentle craft of locating and following the structural lines of tension throughout the body and releasing any adhesions found within the muscles and surrounding fascia by restoring and encouraging the natural mobility within the vertebrae of the spine.
Self-care hobbies and activities that Milaka enjoys outside of work include traveling with her husband (Doug), hiking and exploring the outdoors, practicing yoga, reading, and singing with a local Sweet Adeline’s chorus “Metro Nashville Chorus.” Milaka and her husband moved from Oregon to Tennessee in June 2024 so that they can explore and experience the culture of this part of the country…one of the things on their bucket list.

Raquel Bueno
Raquel Bueno (Yoga Therapist, Viniyoga Facilitator, EYRT500, YACEP, Yin) is a lifelong student and dedicated teacher of yoga, with over three decades of deep practice and study. Rooted in the classical Viniyoga lineage—passed from Krishnamacharya to his son, Mr. Desikachar, and then to her teacher, Chase Bossart—Raquel carries forward this tradition with reverence and authenticity. In the same vein, as a Yoga Therapist, Raquel approaches the challenges we face with attention and care, addressing a person, not a problem. She experiences life’s twists and turns as an opportunity for insight into relieving suffering and returning to a state of balance.
Alongside her devotion to yoga, Raquel has cultivated a long-standing Zen Buddhist practice, receiving her Buddhist precepts (Jukai) in 2002. The interweaving of these traditions has shaped her teaching into a tapestry of care, presence, and deep connection, creating spaces where students feel both seen and supported. As a multicultural Mexican-American, she embraces the philosophy of “allowing” to inspire students of all identities and backgrounds to step into practice as they are and to forge a more intimate connection with spirit.
Raquel is unendingly humbled by the profound impact of yoga and by students who practice with her—they inspire her to approach every class, workshop, and conversation as an opportunity to learn. Both a guide and a seeker, she is continually shaped by the teachings she shares and the ever-unfolding experience of being alive.
